New Customer|User Questions...

Unlocking phones that use Test Point Adapters :

Do you need to connect phone cable, plus battery, plus testpoint adapter then power on phone to unlock.

What to do with Test point adapters that do not have guides to place the adapter properly on the PCB, that is how those one know the TP are touching the right locations e.g. Testpoints.

Do you Testpoints to use the logger?

Do you need to log-on to sagemdd server to unlock myc4-2?

PS
Maybe most of the questions can be answered in the Sagem website download area? But, Iam waiting for my login 24hrs has passed.

BR

turn on phone (with battery or power supply) i use power supply as sometimes its impossible to hold the phone, battery and adapter at the same time.

insert cable,
push on test point adapter (with rj45 attached),
press do job on software, if its needs logger it works automaticly if you are logged in. (log in first to be safe).

done

Man, I not understand your post!
Look TP pictures and you will see, you can`t put TP on wrong place!
Remember , here is wrong place for questions about not confirmed registration! I can`t guess who are you and what is problem with your registration (cloned box, wrong reseller, incorrect pass or login)!
So, send your question with all details to sagemdd@yahoo.de!

P.S
You are right, firstly get registration, after that post here your opinion/questions and question to forum members!

Thank you for your attention, I was able to logon to sagemDD, so now I can see the testpoints pictures. The question was that some Testpoint adapters have guides, or support pins that go thru the PCB which help aline the TP adapters. But some do not like MYC4-2 it
does not have supports the adapter slides all the place. Anyway I going to use needles for testpoints just need some more hands to help out.

@James-R
Thank you for your advice on how to use and unlock with Sagemdd the user
manual does not have that infomation, clearly layed out.

On Cable_Metal_Box Cable layout. What is the red clip with 9Vchange used for and what phones, reference picture in Sagemdd web-page download area, (Cable_Metal_Box.gif). My cable does not have this red-clip so is it optional.

The red clip is to be connected to one of the batery connectors (instead of the battery). However, does anyone know if that option works on an MYC4 and is so, is it the left connector?

Judging from the cable layout Cable_Metal_Box.gif it is the +V9 therefore
it must go on the + side of connecter where the battery sits. But I be
caution I use a power supply on the battery connecters and only use 4.5 to 5 volts to power the phone, 9 vdc seems to much.

I would be good if the Sagemdd had butter documentation.
