Thumbs down Old Myc4-2 unlock....

Hi mates.

i know this is quite old school stuff. Never did try this one using SagDD. am getting a problem to connect.

The cable i did it myself. One side RJ45 (plugs in the SagDD dongle) and the other side is the connector and 4 test point wires. I did this exactly as shown in support using this :

http://www.sagdd.net/download_files/...p?id_file=5515

as i have the metal box, and for the TPs this :

http://www.sagdd.net/download_files/...p?id_file=5471

Did try to follow this procedure as said by Oxo Boxo:

1.Download TP picture from support area;
2.Disassemble carefully phone. Remove plastic plate to access TP. Clean PCB if necessity.
3.Solder 4 TP wires to phone pcb and assemble phone again;
4.Put battery in phone case (or connect to external power supply - be careful about voltage level and polarity!)
5.Plug myC-2 system connector - phone must power on automatically. If not - do it manually.
6.Start SagemDD client select - Speed Auto, option Dongle;
7.Connect to server then press |Do the Job|
8.If TP connection are OK, phone will reboot and Code will appear on screen;
9.Disconnect and disassemble phone , remove TP wires and clear phone PCB;
10.Reassemble phone carefully, put non-accepted SIM and enter code;
11.Get phone unlocked;

Phone not even getting the info out of it. Nothing at all.

The length of the test point wires is quite short. Barely 100mm total from box to the TPs and they are properly soldered.

Any help appreciated
thanks

@Burnt Cobba

Unlocking myC4-2 is easy and safe.
Take a look to this simple and absolutelly clear manual!

http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/atta...1&d=1208458248

First of all, connect phone connector without TP`s
After Do the Job you will see FW info and message Bootloader failed.
Next step, connect TP`s to box and make Do the Job.
That is all.

with SagDD i unlocked countless of models. I had Sagmaster and SCDRII but due to the bad customer care they had i just went over to the best alternative... that is SagDD. Did not even consider SMTi.

This is the only problem i met with this one mate. Not even reading the imei and basic info. Really strange.

Most funny post ever seen!
Or maybe most st***d!
Could you post even one example?
Because I can post many examples about supported only by SagDD Sagem phones!

@Burnt Cobba
If you cant read FW info, check/clear phone connector.
