PCI - Parallel Adapter

Hi, hope not millions have asked you about this here . Iīve bought a SagemDD yesterday. My main computer does NOT have a native Paralell port. Does it have a chance to work using a PCI I/O Controller? The chipset of the card is OXFORD SEMI - OX16PCI952 and in their site they even include Windows Vista drivers. If you guys think (iīm not asking for a definitive answer) this card have SOME CHANCE of working with SagemDD please tell me so I will buy and give it a try.

Really interested case....
- "IEEE 1284 Compliant SPP, EPP and ECP Parallel Port" in OX16PCI952 specification
look as enough for communication with SagDD box!
Anyway testing is required....

Not working.

@Inovator

Sorry for the delay, but no, itīs not working with the card. Actually I didnīt test other hardware on the card, but I tried SagDD with it and always get "dongle not responding" and Iīve attached the SagDD DIRECTLY to the card. Tried playing with the settings the card offers (Legacy Compatibilty, Plug and Play, Speed Settings), tried the newest drivers, but couldnīt make it work. Took the SagDD to another PC (older with a native Paralell Port) and is working fine.
