Unlocking with TP doesn't work? - GSM-Forum

Hi!

I have old Sagem JTAG box via LPT port, and before 2-3 months I can't unlock none of the phones which are connected via testpoints to unlock!!

I measured all testpoint lines to the atmel and all are ok!! I even made new testpoint cable but problem is the same!!

If I connect phone I always got bootloader failed!
For example this is 501C, but I tried with 10 other phones and always same problem!!

Damaged JTAG interface or phones requires connection/unlocking with USB data cable.
Be more detailed.
What type are other 10 phones?

Old type phones, X5, X1, C4....they even can't be connected via USB!!

On the begining I thought that proble was in the phones but now I'm 100% shure that problem is in the box!!

So if is problem in the box I only can buy new one or is some way to repair it!?!

Damaged JTAG interface.
-resolder all component on box pcb;
-check protection resistors near RJ45 connector;
-check position of RJ45 spring pins.

I already resoldered all components on the box, checked protection resistors, and tried to solder testpoint wires direct on box PCB!!

So if I need new box is there any discount for users with damaged interface!?
