Hy guys!

Need your help. Alcatel 311 switches on when trying to insert cable. What can it be?

wrong cable, or, if cable works with another Bf phones, maybe dirty contacts

I understand this, but what cable is right? What MAX may i use 232 or 3232? What about low-voltage technology on 31x and 51x alcatels? So many questions. May be someone can answer (correctly...

1,2,3-GND, 4-TX, 5-RX. Power 4,0 V. Tested by me.

Hi,

1+2+3 to gnd doesn't work on some phones.

Try this:

1 GND 2+3 to RTS throught MAX ...and the rest RX and TX

Use 5V but place 2 zenners 3V6 on RX and TX to phone.
