Help! 311 Cable Connection - GSM-Forum

I ave cable for alcatel 311 with external supply but dont know how to connect it to phone and pc please haewlp!

Connect the cable to the phone and connect it to computer, boot up the computer it should dictect it and say new hardware found, click on next till it tell you finish. I guess this can solve your problem

joesy, please read a post carefully before responding so as u do not deceive people.

the right procedure is to connect the cable at close to buttom of the handset where u will see the contact point for cable and put a 9v battery at the external connection.depending on what u want to do like unlocking or flashing, u press connect in software like Wray or henrichgu and ur phone will be connected with the software and u do what u want.i u need further assistance,contact me on msn,yahoo or icq

Well i tried to connect like u said but the 9 volts battery become very hot i dont know if the cable is the problem or i connected in a wrong way

It's not normal battery to be hot ... check cable & connections!
