Alcatel 6034R reflash

Hi, i have a bricked OT 6034R and I am trying to reflash it. Is it possible to find the raw firmware image or at least is it possible to find the pro_info file in order to try the procedure described in the sticky theme to force the OTU to reflash?

It would help a lot, if you wrote HOW you bricked it ?

And ... Phone you have is Qualcomm phone,
totally different than MTK models, which are easy to solve,
Qualcomm - not so easy.

btw. did you try official OTU updater ? if yes - does it work ? no ?

there is one, unofficial way to fix ... but for it, you will need one working phone.

Hi again,
I used an application called 3C toolbox which provides some optimization features like zipalign. After that "optimization" at first reboot the phone ended in boot loop. The official OTU tool says "there is no newer version" and refuses to flash the phone. I found in some french forum some images - there was a partial success with one them - the phone booted but ... GSM and wireless don't work - i think something is wrong with baseband as in about menu there is a line "BASEBAND unknown". So currently the phone is not completely bricked - i succeeded to boot but without radio services.

You can forward those links to me, so I can download it, and check those files.

Those are probably raw images for phone in EMMC mode,
in which you can write them directly as raw partition(s) ?

if so, those flashes you used can probably be edited, to trick OTU updater,
to allow update / restore and fix phone.

images location

Hi, the files are available on
goo*gl/IuUX8j

- sorry for this but I am not allowed to post links so i put * instead of DOT

I have rebooted the phone in recovery mode and using adb pushed following commands:
fastboot -i 0x1bbb erase boot
fastboot -i 0x1bbb erase recovery
fastboot -i 0x1bbb erase system
fastboot -i 0x1bbb erase custpack

After that I loaded the downloaded files:

fastboot -i 0x1bbb flash boot boot*img
fastboot -i 0x1bbb flash recovery idolscwm6.0.3.7*img
fastboot -i 0x1bbb flash system system1*img
fastboot -i 0x1bbb flash custpack custpack*img
fastboot -i 0x1bbb reboot

The system image file is located at:

mega*co*nz/#!HBIF3KzY!R6roKuvEeVYCcPFphY0fPi7FoMll0WqRaCZQLor oP_w

(sorry again for the mess with the * but the DOT symbol is recognized as link)

There are two files in subfolder ROM on the link above which seem to contain some zip rom images but I don't know how to flash them.

BR
Pavel

Hi,

The problem here is not the android system or custpack, neither is boot and recovery.
Some of those mentioned images are intended for CWM/TWRP recovery.

regarding no wifi, etc, it refers to either no modem partition in phone, or screwed up NVM area.

Can you somewhere find exactly the same working phone ?
Maybe there is a chance of repairing, but you'll need one working phone to try it.

Hi, I have a soft bricked Alcatel 6034r. Also a new working one. I have tried various uploads to the phone with dab sideload, but they all fail (failed installation).

Is there a way I can use the working phone to reflash or restore the non working one. The non working is stuck in a loop where it says unfortunately xxx has stopped working , which I clear and then says again.

Hi,
I downloaded OTU Updater for Idol s and I cannot connect it to both the bricked and working phones. I selected Idols on the LAcatel site and then downloaded Mobile Upgrade Q 4.1.0. I then selected One Touch 6034R from the dropdown menu, and it stops there. Can't do any further.
I can read from the good phone in Explorer so I know it is connecting to USB.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong ?

Revert to some normal windows, win7 or winXP,
Everything will start working like magic,
And no more bricked phones.

P.s. 32bit win

Ok, Put the software on my Windows 7 Laptop and OTU Updater all runs well. Used version 5 which is for Idol4, but it has 6034 as a phone option so worked on my Idol S.

Updated new 6034R and it went well, took 30 minutes and was done.
Unfortunately the non-working phone only got about 1/4 of the way through the update with it crashing out and giving the message to remove battery and retry. Could not get past this error message.

Am I out of options to repair faulty phone ?

cheers

Charge it's battery on working phone and retry process ...

If still the same, try contacting me in private, we'll try something else,
prepare teamviewer and skype.
