alcatel idol 3 6045k dead - GSM-Forum

phone not responding (no power, black lcd...) only led flash when connected to pc or charger... when connected to pc nothing happen mobile upgrade q tool cannot detect phone... download mode (volume up + volume down + usb cable) not working too... changed usb cable and pc but no luck... battery show 4.2V

any solution?

Time to check usb connector (charging port) on phone ...

Without battery, and both volume keys + insert usb cable - port 9008 must appear in device manager ...

i did what you said but nothing happen... charging works fine and usb port looks good (nothing broken etc..)

What was initial problem with phone, how it become "Dead Meat" ?

I changed lcd+touch+frame more then 1 month ago and phone worked great but now is totally dead... I don't know exactly what happened before phone died... however I already tried to disconnect almost everything from board but still nothing... I connected phone to 10000mah power bank (capable to charge iPhone 7 3 times) fully charged and 6-7 hours later power bank were almost discharged and battery shows 4.2V... no sign of water damage...

Something is draining power ... if too high resistance on battery positive and negative pins, time to start digging on board,
starting from PA (Power Amplifier), bluetooth/wifi module, etc.

resistance is 11.15k... strange but no battery drain i think... from 3.8V to 3.4V 24h passed

As expleained HERE (use google transleate),
You need USB-OTG cable, and a USB type A on both sides,
when plugged in - phone should go to HS-USB Qdownloader 9008 mode.

After that - Mobile Upgrade or flash via QFIL, or flash via BOX.

Hello can you help me too? I cannot use mobile upgrade or qfil cause it needs to enter to download mode then I cannot cause my idol 3 is dead already.

You will need OTG-usb cable, double A-type usb cable,
And maybe will need to disassemble phone.

Ahm, hello. Do i still need to buy a otg cable and usb type a though my pc detected my phone qdloader 9008? It's just when I use qfil i do not have the compatible program firehose file and the xml files for alcatel idol 3. And when I tried other mbn and xml files, it says switch to edl mode fail. How to resolve this?

Reflash it with THIS

Download, unpack, run, wait to start, start download in software,
then connect phone.

If it displays error on 45 or more % , don't worry,
disconnect it, reboot, make factory reset from recovery
and run phone normally.

Still not good. Why can't the tool detect the IMEI, CU Ref, Hardware, and others of the phone? And it stops and says NPRG Error. What to do?

Probably hardware malfunction (flash memory died).
