It is all the same for all MTK models, all you need is correct PID.

Here are ALL factory PID's :

Code:
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]ALMX1
6040A-2[X=A,B,D,E]LDUS11
6040A-2[X=A,B,D,E]NNEC1
6040A-2[X=A,B,D,E]C9JM1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]B6CA1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]B6CA7
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]EECL1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]C3IL1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]PVIL1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]AVCO1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]AVDO1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]AVSV1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]AVGT1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]AVCR1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]AVHN1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]NSAR1
6040A-A[X=A,C,D,E]NSAR2
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]TGMX1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]TLCL1
6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]ALMX0
p.s. There is a Country code in pid - ie : 6040A-2[X=A,C,D,E]ALMX0 = MeXico

You can read it from phone, addresses are inside scatter file.

Use search, dont be lazy, i posted several times how-to.

You must use addresses for your phone.

I used a different version of SPFT and successfully loaded the scatter file. I don't see pro_info but I do see Mobile_info. When I try to download that it freezes FlashTool

You can read pro_info 2 ways :

1. Via SPFT, use attached scatter, window "read memory", eMMC,
start address : 0x1500000 ; length : 0x300000

2. Via MTK Droid tools - BACKUP, root phone first.

you can post links to readed pro_info, upload it somewhere.

Always welcome such intentions, making some public base of flashes
for different models.

p.s. I hope you have some uploading site like medifire,
with account, on which links can last.

This is what I get when I try to load the file you gave me.

When I use SP Flash Tool v5.1252.xxx it does not give that error, but it just sits there for ever and does nothing after I click read

Go to engineering menu, *#*#3646633#*#* and check network bands, set those used by your operator

I spent all night messing around and I finally got TCL s950 4.4.2 working with network. However I can't get the AOSP one working for the life of me.

Instead of preparing original Canada ROM could you work with me on getting the AOSP ROM to work? The only thing that needs fixing is the Mobile network.

EDIT1:
I fixed the S950 ROM by copying original stock modem.img file and placing it in system/etc/firmware/ and changing the name to modem_1_3g_n.img (while the other modem.ig file was in there as well) and then changing permissions for modem_1_3g_n.img to 644 with a reboot.

Unfortunately it's not working for the AOSP, but maybe it will give you an idea on how to fix.

I should also add that the AOSP ROM you gave previously also only detects one storage location at a time. Either internal or SD but never both.

EDIT2:
Hey bro if you're still going to do this would you be able to make the AOSP ROM dual SD Card compatible? When I installed it it would only ever detect one of my two storage spaces.

6040A Original Canada ROM - HERE

SPFlashTools - HERE

unpack, start spft, load-scatter, from rom folder,
manually load custpack and mobile_info files,
press download and connect phone to cable.

Thank you Brka for your precious support.
I tried a month ago flashing some 6030s but unfortunately they had hardware issues so my efforts were useless.
now i revived a 6040X it is fully functional.
the rom i used was Android Srbija - Vesti, Zanimljivosti, Recenzije, Mali oglasi, Forum ...

Hey Brka. I was wondering if you could recommend the best custom ROM for the 6050a. I'm looking to be able to install themes using theme chooser and the slim cat ROM I have doesn't seem to support it.
