Which model exactly you have ? 6055Y, 6055K, 6055B, 6055I ?

6045Y is IDOL 3, not idol 4, and it's possible to remove frp.

i access settings by apk model no is 6055k bro brka

just put sim card on the name of the sim card ( i used old at&t ) mack text selection (or selet any text you write )
click 4 dots it will appear assist ( mack sure you have a wifi connection ) press on mic say open setting ( say it slowly )
it will open setting press storage and usb press last word explore you are in phone memory open quick shortcut apk (try to add file by usb on phone memory its work )

after that use the old method type your account in browser

restart phone close internet connection

Just some advises if you add file with usb in download folder and when you install it say can,t open the file just but any html file in download folder and open try with the same way the phone will ask you to open it by chose google chrome and download short cut maker apk it will be installing on phone correctly

I try to do what you wrote step by step, but in my case when I select a text I don't get the 4 dots (points) to the right of selection I just get CUT COPY SHARE without 4 dots. is this a new firmware with a correction of this bug??

What i saw before, on some ither model is - ot's OLD firmware.
After updating, four dots appeared
Same thing was also reported on some other forum by users.

So ... use OTU updater, update your phone and retry operation.
