Alcatel One Touch 5020T Network LOCKED i have unlock codes but cannot enter them - GSM-Forum

I purchased the unlock codes for a TMO Alcatel one touch but it will not let me enter the code because it says slot locked or something. I think my friend entered the unlock code too many times wrong. I even tried the unlocke simme from the programmers menu but it does not let me access the menu. I gather I am supposed to flash or upgrade the software but I cannot find any tools that work. The upgrade tool says read terminal information failed. I REALLY need help and kind of a noob at this the last thing i did was jailbreak an iphone in 2012.

I am so frustrated!!

Read his post carefully. update solved. means updated that phone to solve issue.

Too complicate steps

Almost all boxes support format userdata directly, without root.
And...alcatel start to detect rooted phones and customer can lose waranty.
