Member: 137426 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 50 | Alcatel One Touch Pop 4010X keeps asking ME code When I turn on the phone it asks for the PIN and then the SIM-ME code. When I enter the NCK it continues and the phone has network with a different card. However, when i restart the phone it keeps asking for the SIM ME code. When I enter the NCK again, it works without any problem. Is there any way to permanently store the simlock code? |

However, some people reported, that after full erase from recovery And unlocking after it, fixed that problem with code asking. So, try this : - enter recovery (volume up + power on) - make erase data and cache - power on - enter sim lock code - open engineering menu via *#*#3646633#*#* - go to sim me lock menu - each category, option is called something like unlock permanently - select remove / unlock permanently - exit eng menu, shutdown phone Now try with different sim cards... And of course post results. p.s. after hard reset, it will again back to earlier condition, And ask for codes, so whole process need to be repeated. b.r. Alex |

if certain flag is set - it will again ask for unlock code after hard reset. I already wrote some temporary solution in post above. b.r. Alex | |
