Hi,

Of course - the best idea (always) is to try factory updater,
if you want to fix phone from boot-loop, return it to stock state etc.
Factory updater can be downloaded HERE
It will also install all needed drivers, if you need to use factory flasher.

If, for some reason it doesn't fix your phone ....

I have found for you, 7041D flashes (should work on 7040D),

For SPFlashTools - download it HERE

You can download some latest flash tool HERE

or, for CWM (custom) recovery - download HERE

I recommend you not to flash that phone, it is beyond your skills.
You will probably totally screw it up.

Leave to to some experienced repair technician.
