It based on 4-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor ... so probably "clean" backup do not exist - try to use Mobile Upgrade Q from official support.

In addition to debeliamarks post,

New Alcatel Qualcomm phones are not the thing to play with,
because if OTU Updater refuse the update, saying that "you already have the latest version",
only solution is bring dead phone to someone who have
alcatel service access, to reflash the phone on service software (forced restore/update).

I hope you succeeded with OTU updater... otherwise, start looking for someone
with mentioned tools/access.

Actually, I found out that you CAN make "clean" backup and restore to other,
dead phones.

Alcatel QCom models have "Qualcomm EMMC mode",
with volume down + power button, in which,
you can see it as RAW Hard Disk with partitions.

In such mode, you can use HDD Raw Copy portable,
and make Full image from working phone,
which can be written into dead phone,
and after first power on, it will re-create NVM area,
imei, but wifi/bt mac will be changed, which is ok.

or

if phone still can power on, you can root it,
mount some mmcblkp partition, change pid,
and use OTU updater.

Just a question:

Did you try this (first method) by yourself, or this is only a theory?

Many thanx.

Yes, this method works, on all Qualcomm models, even on other brand phones.
I baked up and restored my 6016x this way,
even put some Russian rooted rom.

That is full backup, even with user data.

It also works on 995, but as I remember, it cant go into Qualcomm eMMC mode,
with key combination, but with QPST software, and switching into DLOAD mode.

and btw, if it was detected via pc as HS-USB 9008 port, it could be repaired with QPST only,
no any JTAG needed, like most Qualcomm's.
(although, maybe some tespoints needed for forced HS-USB 9008 mode).

QPST is in fact intended for such things, to fill empty boards.

There are 2 modes :
no/dead boot = hs-usb 9008,
boot alive and eMMC mode available for raw programming = hs-usb 9006

p.s. OTU updater for Qualcomm alacatels, is in fact QPST module, with scripts,
it do all those things like manually with QPST.

What does the OTU Updater says ?

Latest OTU Updater Q 5.1.2 - HERE

p.s. If you still have eMMC drive, and eMMC Raw tool can see it,
we can still change PID, and force OTU Updater to flash it.

Partition you are looking for is called "Traceability", it's actually pro_info partition ...
Changing pid to some retail, ie: 6036Y-2AALFR1 or 6036Y-2AALEU1 should do the job, and trick OTU to start update it.
So, just read it, write back, close eMMC raw tool, start OTU Updater ....

p.s.2 When you put phone to eMMC mode, OTU should read it and start updating ...

post results ...

hey..

device has no parittion..only i can read the DUMP.. and if i edited the PID in dump updater gives attention.. there is no new sw for ur device..

maybe if we can find the twrp old android (4.1.2) backup maybe we can solve the pb...

because if i edit (from 2ABGRU7 to 2AALDE7) and write the old dump which taken before updated is useless..again same error; there is now new sw for ur device..
