Hi friends.
I have got 2 alcatel 6030x dead.
ot upgrade wont recognize their model and sp flash tool keep throwing this error whatever i try to flash.
BROM ERROR : S_NOT_ENOUGH_STORAGE_SPACE (1011)
i have followed Brka instructions but now im lost.
are they both dead because of fried nand memory??

There is memory test in spft. Run it, it will give you all answers.

FULL Repair ROM (Serbian ROM), flashable via WRITE MEMORY option - HERE

After writing rom_0 , your phone should be alive.
After that you can start playing with pro_info , read it,
edit it and flash back to phone and use OTU updater,
to get it back to original state (and desired PID).

Read sticky thread regarding pid change.
Or search my post regarding reading pro_info, and editing it.

Your last hope - full rom_0 backup, which should revive your phone(s).

Download it - HERE

Use it with SPFT, tab "Memory Write". (load 6030x scatter before)

p.s. If still the same error - eMMC is dead (although it shows alive in yur memory test).

brother what kind of flasher to be use for your given rom...

i dont think i am that lucky
used 4 spflash versions and got different errors.
v 3.1224, the most stable i have used, threw error s dl get dram setting fail 5054.
in device manager driver is shown as Mediatek preloader usb vcom port.


both phones may be gone.

Also, tou can try to flash preloader only,

And try with spft v5

i am determined to solve this problem as this is getting very common, but i must admit i dont have the right experience and knowledge working with MTKs. i demand sorry for any noob question, and now will keep reading and googling to at least understand how this thing works.

Actually, it's pretty simple.

When eMMC / NAND is empty, or damaged, phone appears as MTK preloader,
and that is first sign of some possible hardware malfunction.

Yesterday I had 4010x with "Flash not detected" problem,
which, after reflowing, nand memory, appeared, but motherboard was bent too much, so phone stayed on boot logo.
(caused by hard crashing / fall on the street).

So, first thing to try, is always eMMC / NAND memory reflowing / reballing, change.
(of course, check if it is glued - if yes, better don't touch it.)
