hi,

i need help with my alcatel one touch pop c7 7041x

i accidentaly formatted my phone when i was downloading music,
i have never attempted to root my phone.
my phone freezes at the bootscreen when it shows ''alcatel one touch pop c7''
but i can boot into recovery mode.

i hope i gave enough information and i hope to fix it as soon as possible but im a rookie with phones ;p

find my other topic about 7041x, download rom files and flasher,
and flash only system + custpack, DO NOT FLASH rest of files.
(when load scatter file in flasher, manually DE-Select all other files except mentioned two).
(UN-TICK all other files, because it's dangerous to flash preloader in 7041x, there are few different hardware models).

i get the error BROM_ERROR : S_DL_GET_DRAM_SETTING_FAIL ( 5054 ) . can you help me solve it, i think i have the wrong alcatel 7041x files i couldnt find your 7041x topic so i downloaded 1 from internet...

use scatter and system + custpack from posted ROM.

DO NOT flash other files, like I mentioned before.

You can permanently screw phone if you don't know what are you doing.

You have been warned.

ive done it and the flash was succesful! tyvm!!
but it still wont turn on but the white led still works when its charged.

already tried alcatel upgrade s but it says that read terminal information failed please check phone status.

btw ur a hero ;p

Okay, now flash rest of files from above pack, WITHOUT preloader (first on file list when load scatter),
Dont forget to untick/de-select it !

Or, just flash all without preloader.

Lets see what will happen.

Btw. When wrong preloader flashed, it can cause bricked phone.

flashed everything succesful but still only white LED..

i think i need to format my phone and find the right preloader?

if you are interested i have preloader from vodafone ro and es, i have all dump made if that helps you. Look on my thread here and see the exact models 7041X.

Playing with preloaders on 7040/7041 models is EXTREMLY dangerous.
BE WARNED. If you have PCB board incompatible with preloader,
it will lead to TOTAL BRICKED phone, no repair, just board swap.

p.s. you can try flashing all other files, but try not to flash preloader.

I have similar problem here,condition:
phone came new and working just needed to change language it's PID: 2BVDES1,as usual i flashed it using a box with firmware pid ALAP1,now it's dead
I think an incompatible preloader has been flashed now we have to find the exact preloader compatible with this hardware version 7041x-2BVDES1
Did you find any solution ?

Yes, solution is board exchange/swap.

No other solution, and so far, not any software can help
