First thing to try, as usually, is factory upgrade tool for 985 model, you can download it HERE, it will also install drivers, needed for it, and eventually, other reviving method. if that works for you - great, you don't have to read further. If not .... Since you didn't wrote whats the real problem with your phone, I assume that phone can power on, and you want to bring it back to life. It will NOT have IDEA branding and other stuff after this, but it will work. Steps to do that : - Download CWM Recovery HERE - Download custom rom 1 - HERE "ot985 Dark Ginger" or - Download custom rom 2 - HERE "ot985 CyanogenMod 7" or - Download custom rom 3 - HERE "ot985 Xperia Mod" now ... unpack CWM, power off the phone ; Start SPFlashTools, from right panel, "scatter loading" - select file from folder "cwm", it will report some errors, its ok, just press ok, and again. Press button "Download", connect powered off phone to cable, it should stard working, and after finished, it will display green circle, means it's done. now, put any of desired custom roms to SDCard, and insert in phone, and hold VOLUME UP button, and while holding, press power on for 3-5 seconds. after some time, you will be in CWM recovery. option "install zip from sdcard", select .zip file you put earlier on it (rom must be .zip extension, check if rom you downloaded is unpacked from .rar or .7z) After that, go back and do reboot system. that's it, wait for phone to power up. and ... post results. b.r.
