It's very complicated phone by nature ...

Complicated, because it's CDMA + LTE phone, no GSM bands.

from specs:
Quote:
LTE 4G
band 4 / 1700 MHz AWS (Americas)
band 13 / 750 MHz Upper 700 (USA (Verizon))

CDMA 2G / 3G
850 MHz / band 5 / BC0 Cellular (Americas, Oceania, Brazil, Israel)
1900 MHz / band 2 / BC1 PCS (Americas)
Question is, what will you get by unlocking it ?

Better idea, IMHO, is some kind of conversion to another very similar model,
like Alcatel/TCL 5154A, 5054A/D/X/S , 5054W/N/T

Quote:
2G bands GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2 (dual-SIM model only) - 5054D/5054X
3G bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 - 5025E/5025G
HSDPA 900 / 2100 - 5025X/5025D/5025N
4G bands LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800) - 5054D/5054X
LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 7(2600), 28(700) - 5054A
LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 20(800), 40(2300) - 5054T
LTE band 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 12(700), 17(700) - 5054S
Speed HSPA 21.1/5.76 Mbps, LTE Cat4 150/50 Mbps - 5054D/5054X
Beside network differences, there is also camera difference,
cpu is the same, ram and rom sizes same, and some models have 1.3 intead 1.1GHz cpu.

But ... as there's always some BUT ... for whole that process, probably several phones
should be damaged and tested by some developer.

So ... final answer: Not worth for 35$ brand new phone, which works only in USA.

p.s. If some developer have such phones and want to work on them,
or some greater amount of such phones is stocked somewhere, waiting for solution,
maybe I can provide some useful resources for that model.(boot loaders, factory tools, etc.)

b.r.
