How to format the whole flash of Android phone when it is power on

I cannot format flash of my Android phone Alcatel ot 985n because I flashed a wrong rom on my phone which is not for it and the rom briked my smartphone causing when I insert battery phone gets turn on automatically with grey coloured blank screen and vibrates for indefinitely until I remove battery.
II tried to format the whole flah with so flash tools but it says bootrom startcmd failed possibly the target power up too early, this happens because it automatically gets turn on with blank grey screen and vibration
Please if anybody knows tell me how can I format the whole flah of an Android phone while in its power on state.
Please please help..

After disconnecting the battery, putting it back, then starting SPFlashTools, and starting format process,
then inserting powered off cable to phone, format should start.

If not, re-check usb connector on phone, cable, drivers, etc.

I tried everything and got the same error
Then I tried to download another previous and latest versions of sp flash tools but it didn't work
One sp flash tools also says that Android partition size changed I think this is because of wrong rom flashed on it.
Please any other trick to format Please tell. I will be very thankful please.

BROM ERROR: S_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL (2005)
[BROM] Can not pass bootrom start command! Possibly target power up too early.

Is there any idea or any other tool to just formating whole flash without any errors

Try older SPFlashTools, etc.
If you have some of commercial boxes, you should try with them too ...

no other ideas ....

Ok I tried flashing this rom
ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 985N_140921_021534

And this rom
ot-985N-2DIJIN1_IDEA_AURUS_INDIA.7z

But after flashing one of these roms when I power on phone I see Android logo then it disappears and again Android logo then again disappears...
I cannot see the idea logo which comes after Android one the Android logo keeps appearing and disappearing indefinitely.
Can you tell me what is the problem.
Need help please is there any other dual SIM rom for my 985n

Lets try to clear this matter :

1. Use older SPFT - SP-Flash-Tool-v3.1344.0.212

2. Use some of already tried flash files - ot-985N_IDEA-AURUS or ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 985N 140921 021534
Be sure that after loading scatter file, all files are loaded/selected for flashing, like on attached picture

3. If you still have same issue after flashing, download full rom readback - idea one touch 985n,
Copy scatter file (txt scatter file) from some of previous two rom's into this unpacked rom folder,
Open SPFT and load scatter file from folder, go to drop-down menu "Window", click on "Write memory",
New TAB will appear - "Write memory", go there and "Open Raw Data", open file "idea one touch 985n.bin",
Select "Nand Flash", input begin address : 0x0 , container length : 0x21000000 (or leave empty),
Press "Write memory" and connect powered off phone to cable. (check second attached picture).

After done, disconnect phone, enter recovery with holding Volume UP + Power on ,
do Wipe Data / cache and reboot.

If, after flashing, phone stays dead, open some of posted roms from point 2 and flash only PRELOADER.

If phone still stays on boot-loop, after writing single-file rom from 3rd step,
flash again with normal rom - ot-985N_IDEA-AURUS archive.

And ... if all of that fails, you will need some of commercial boxes to flash that phone,
because may be some problem in flashing procedure.

p.s. There is also last thing to try - Factory OTU Updater
