Phone is same hardware as 4018A/D/E/F/M/X.

Use SPFlashTool v3.1344.0.212 , load attached scatter,
tab READ BACK, ADD, select save location and file name,
start address is 0x0000000 , end address is : 0x55380000,
press Read Back and connect powered off, working phone to cable.

After done, from SPFT, Window, Write memory, load file,
select eMMC, open raw data, Write memory, connect powered off phone to cable.

that's all.

Vodafone 685 and Vodafone 785 have 3 hardware versions.
Flashing wrong firmware will result boot on logo or dead handset.
PID difference no matter here.
Flashing full, is not recomended, only to make alive phone.
Some items are build at first start if missing.
bad values can cause bad signal, wifi problems e.t.c e.t.c.

You was lucky
Is great you solved your problem, was 2 phones with save pcb revision.

And you not readed my repply
As example, exist for VDRO1 2 distinct versions ACC2 and MR.
Buth firmwares for same pid VDRO1.
Flashing ACC2 firmware in phone what haved MR firmware will be dead phone.
VDRO1 is taked as example, can be another PID

I need a ROM for Vodafone VF685 please. Also, can you advice if fixing the logo hang problem here http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f317...-help-1962533/ require flashing of a firmware or you do not use any. Thanks.

I got the one for the 4018A supposed to be compatible with the VF685 , could it be the same pack you used?
