c975 1.5 amp power consumption - GSM-Forum

after conecting power suppply with 3.7 v and usb cable phone went dead, power consuption is 1.5 amp , and i cant locate faulty part, can anyone can point me where i can find it ???

PFU - it is acronym of power function unit or you mean pa, i dont have this phone at the moment but i take a look at work on monday just let me know what you mean exacly

Try to remove metallic covers...and test the voltage of the condonsator near the P.A (skyworks).
and with you finger...try to touch all the I.C , one of them will be very hot...
Because when the phone lost power..the Power I.C , will be very hot...change it.
