Motorola V525 blanc screen - GSM-Forum

Hi everybody,

I've just joined and am an absolute newbie! I've got a 2 yera old Motorola v 525 who's lcd screen went white (the small blue screen works OK as well as the rest).
I've asked around and it seems that getting it repaired would cost a fortune (I live in Switzerland) so before throwing the phone away, I've decided to try to repair it myself.
I seem to understand that the problmem is the flat cable, so I've ordered one and will try to replace it during the weekend. Can anybody help me with some step by step instructions on how to perform this operation? Please consider that I'm absolutely not an expert.

it's not a software problem it's a hardware problem so you should repair this if you know how to repair then you can do that
