Member: 1024090 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1,175 | Motorola FlipOut Hard Reset by(anowar_virus) To Hard Reset Motorola FlipOut. 1. Turn the power off. If your Motorola FLIPOUT is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it 2. Press and hold the Power and Camera buttons 3. Release the Camera button when prompted 4. Press and hold the Volume Down key 5. A yellow exclamation will appear on the display 6. Select the Wipe data/factory reset (Alt + W) option If you selected YES, all data including third-party applications will be deleted . Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state. Done, your Motorola FlipOut Reset back from its original status |

Member: 819343 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | right found it after searching every menu on the phone, the real way to hard reset this device is; 1). Press Menu 2). Press Settings 3). Press Privacy 4). Press Factory Data Reset. |

Image will appear as shown below = Tap the POWER key to access the menu ANDROID RECOVERY SYSTEM as shown below, then using the navigation key to go in 4th option (WIPE DATA / FACTORY RESET) Confirm with ENTER key Confirm RESET OBS.: I used this option to remove user code, but as it looked forward to the client that the information contained in the device with this method will be totally lost. After RESET, return to the SYSTEM RECOVERY ANDROID menu, select option 1 (SCARE REBOOT NOW) The device was restarting in normal mode with the factory configuration. |

This totally worked - we tried for over two weeks to unlock the moto flipout, and when we couldn't we were given the same printouts as below - pretty useless if the "camera button" isn't obvious, nor was it USED!
