I am a noob...at this so please be patient.

I bought the RAZR v3i from ebay but with no sim card.
It is locked to Orange so I had a previous sim card from another phone which works ok. But isnt registered with the RAZR phone (just wanted to make sure it worked ok) It had this in it:
Motorola CE, Copyright 2004 - V3i (R479_G_08.B4.34R)

So I tried RSD Lite 2.7 and tried to update it with:

R479_G_08.B5.3DR_reflash_mlp_MOTOX.shx

and now I get:

Critiacl Error
DE
AD

Can someone help. I didnt make a back up .....

YOU HAVE TO CONNECT TEST POINT ON THE PHONE BY OPENING ETC GO TO www.smart-clip.com and you will get all your info on how to do this...

now i try my FIDO and ROGERS sim card and it wont find service at all...phon hasnt been droped or damaged its been babied....IT DID WORK WITH AN AMERICAN TMOBILE SIM CARD

I had exactly the same problem and I resolved it by changing the PA.

v557 problem, i made tp to v557 but when i conected to smart clip, the sc went off, and now the v557 doesn´t power up, any suggestions???
