V3 / V3r `Black Screen` or Flipping Screen solution. - GSM-Forum

Hello
Main reason in Motorola V3 / V3r of LCD malfunction is the damaged flex cable,
so if external and internal LCD is complettly black, and phone is functioning normally, or screen is flipping, the reason is OR damaged flex tape OR damaged resistor on VLCD-Clock line.

Fastest way is to diagnostic its resistance - it MUST BE exactly 1ohm !
Putting 0.3-0.5 ohm will cause LCD flipping or other malfunctions.

So before ordering and changing flex tape, check resistance of resistor, placed on attached picture.
