Wink ..:: DCT4PLUS (Asic2, Asic11) Security Code Information ::..

Hello
Im sure you meet called "DCT4PLUS" phones already.
These are: 1600 with latest FW 5.x, 2310 (still ASIC2!), and ASIC11: 1112, 2610, etc.

These phones are pretty better secured than ASIC2, Security Blocks of PM where is such critical data as simlock are hidden from read and locked from write. Even if such blocks are open for read/write, there is only not-important data such as Phonebook or SMS.

On those models also SECURITY CODE structure has changed.
It is no longer located in well-known PM Address. It changed its posistion, and also it is scrambled by some algorithm, which variables are (im think) phone IMEI, etc (similiar as Simlock :P).
So current KarwosSuite 3 IS NOT ABLE to RESET security code on those models or WRITE A NEW CODE nor RESET BAD ATTEMPTS.

Next version of KarwosSuite - v3.0M will be able to full-reset this Security Code Block (both "bad-attempts" and security code), so you will be able to reset Your security code on DCT4PLUS withous loosing anything.

Note that also "Security Code Mastercode" Reavealed by Dejan not work on those models.

Nokia is going to be pretty smarter from Asic to Asic

With Regards,
KarwosGSM.PL TEAM

Is it possible for you to incorporate "init sim locks" also in the new version for these models? It woud be the best gift of 2006 for karwos users.
