why MT-BOX do not show flash ID

I expected new MT-BOX would show Flash ID when flashing like UFS. This qulaification was not on Griffin too. This trick is very useful for repairing.

for example UFS show flash ID when flashing like "K8S6415ETA"

here is result of screen MT-BOX, there is not any this info. MT-BOX team hope you will see that:

Processing File:

Boot...
ASIC ID: 2142
DCT4
u_2nd.fia
u_st_i.fia
Configuration Info (9F):
Number of Flashes: 2
01000000: SGS, 0020 8826 0000 7121, 10
02000000: Unkown, 0090 0000 0000 0000, 0
ExtBUSC: AD7E B61A 1BBE 0BE2 7D58 6BE4 DBEE 6514
Erase[16.00 MB]...
erasing region [01000000 to 0100FFFF]
erasing region [01010000 to 017FFFFF]

one more :
I had 15 credit of Sony Ericsson when I bought MT-BOX, but I flashed 2 C62 and now my credits remined 1, becasue the screen of software was freezing and I had to rstart the software. each time restarted and lost credits. Now! MT-BOX team! is that fair to use 14 credit for only 2 C62?, if you say yes?, then I will not say anything. This just my critization about MT-BOX.
Best regards.

Yes please! I need to know flash ID! I tell you why!

For example: one time I got one 6600, as you know there is 4 flashes, but the phone was white display. I know this is a logical problem, and I know Griffin is a powerfull flasher, I erased and flashed many times with griffin no result, then when flashed with ufs I saw there is blank 2 flash IDs of the phone, then I see that 1 st and 3 th flashes are not working (flash adresses can show us what flash chip is not working), after changed only those flashes everything good, without calculating RPL, because there is IMEI only in second flash. I can tell you many resons like that. we need flash ID by order.Dear Andro, after you builded that qualification on MT-BOX it will be more powerfull. Believe me!

Regards

HI

really this info is not clear for you ??

first your phone have 4 identical flash chips AMD

1 flash 00000000: Amd, 0001 267E 0002 0110, 10
address info is from 00000000 to 02000000
2 flash from 02000000 to 04000000 and ...

so what is not clear flash address info is on first place

Yes sir, thats clear. But we need more specific address. Start and end. So when we use custom erase feature, we can erase it correctly.

eg: Custom erase can do erase 02000000 to FFFFFFFF, but it takes too much time. Also actually there is out of chip address.
Even if we select FFFFFFFFxxxx, it still processig erase for those address.

But, yes, this undefined end address erase (commanded manually) is realy awesome. Powerful. We can thread this just like "format flash".
Blank out the flash totally, nothing left. I like this feature.
(watch out - ??????????????, backup first)

Just need more specific start and end adress.

Thanks

yes is better to see 3 parameters like this
1) 0x00000000-0x00FFFFFF start-end adress
2) Sam K8S2815ET manufacturer/type
3) (16MB) size

i think all this info is usable for us.......
