Hello all. where can i dawnloud all erases files for all kind off BB5 Nokia phones> i have onlly this one erase_rap_adl_loader_modatty_by_tkr.fps8.

1_white screen BB5 Series
2_not powering phone BB5 Series
3_hang phone in logo and blink BB5 Series
4_no access network BB5 Series
5_no network find BB5 Series

this problems if in software problem you can solve by erase that files
but befor erase you can backup RPL and PM backup and after erase and full flash restore to will be ok.

i just want to know how to use those files
cause i see 6 erase bb5 files .
for example if i have Nokia N70 just hang on start up , what kind of files must i used.

3 of files is for erase full the RAP based phones and another 3 is for erase only eeprom of RAP3g based phones.
For differend models of phone you need to use different erase files.
If soft in phone is 8MB then use 8MB erase if is 16 use 16.
Next question will be WHO phone WHO big soft have?
that is your job . all want lazy method but sorry you need to see who phone how big foft have.
when flash phone you need to see erase regions and their biggest adress.
like this : if highest addres is 01FFFFFF this is 32 MB then use 32mb full rap erase file. that all i write this many time but many people is only magazine workers and dont understant from hex and dec files

erase regions is on a hex adress with any calculator you can convert hex to dec. with original windows calc you too can convert in advanced mode of calculator. click on HEX then write 1FFFFFF and then click on DEC you give result 33554431 this division by 1024 you have result of ~32768 Kb and ahain division by 1024 you have a 32 MB.
that all and very simple.
all that you need to see who is high adres for erase when phone is flashed.
if adress is 1FEFFFF (see E to middle in adress then size of flash is 1FFFFFF)

then flash side with eeprom is 00FFFFFFF.
with calc we have:
hex 00FFFFFF converted to dec is : 16777215 div by 1024 is ~16384 div by 1024 is 16MB - then we use 16MB erase file.
SEE ONLY ERASE ADRESS OF RAP3G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
