F.A.Q about MT BOX BB5+ Unlocking !!!

1.Customer: Does i need logs to able unlock these phones?
Answer: No, you just need logs to activate your box for BB5+ and unlock is UNLIMITED

2.Customer: I press unlock button but is not work
Answer: Do not use UNLOCK button use DK SL2 button

3.Customer: Can i use DK SL2 credits to activate BB5+ on my box
Answer: No you cant, these credits are special credits and cant be used

4.Customer: Can i use my MT PRO LITE account logs to activate BB5+ on my box
Answer: No you cant, these credits are special credits and cant be used for any service on GT server

5.Customer: Which cable i need to use FBUS or USB
Answer: You need to use FBUS cable

6.Customer: MTB NK software crash when i press DK SL button. What is the problem?



Answer:

You MT box update tool v3.8 is out of software directory ...
Run MT Tolls v3.8.exe from directory where is MTB_NK.EXE (i.e. where is located file griffin.ini in most cases C:\Program Files\GriffinTeam\MT-box) and click button 'Update'.
Then try to unlock your phone

7.Customer: I am active for BB5+, and i get this on software

Your box has now enabled BB5 wotp, you need to add more 100 logs to activate


8.Customer: Invalid response from RAP3 boot!


I am trying to unlock 6500S and always keep on getting the error below. I already have changed machines, reinstall MT software few times, updated box 100 times (By putting in the updater in mt box folder). Changed cables and searched forums but no luck.

PLEASE ADVICE. THANKS.

Answer:

When you change PC you need to update box again, because there is no PIN in your Griffin.ini.

Use this way:


Download MT Tool v3.8
Connect your MT box to USB
Run MT Tool v3.8.exe from directory where is MTB_NK.EXE (i.e. where is located file griffin.ini in most cases C:\Program Files\GriffinTeam\MT-box) and click button 'Update'.
Do not use MT Box update tool v3.7 or older because will not work

Download MT Tool v3.8
Connect your MT box to USB
Run MT Tool v3.8.exe from directory where is MTB_NK.EXE (i.e. where is located file griffin.ini in most cases C:\Program Files\GriffinTeam\MT-box) and click button 'Update'.
Do not use MT Box update tool v3.7 or older because will not work
Close all applications and restart your PC
Do NOT USE USB hubs to connect MT box to PC
Connect MT Box direct to PC if you can without LONG extension cable, cable need to be very SHORT
Use shielded USB cables if you can

Close MTB NK software
Go to C:\Program Files\GriffinTeam\MT-Box\bb5hash\ and delete codes.ini file
Start MTB NK software
Unlock phone again (press DK SL2 button)

16.How to reset code counters on BB5+ phones ONLY!!

I try to unlock my phone but code counters are 10/10 and 3/3 and cant enter code. How to solve it? Se my log:

You can reset both counters in pm 120 !!!

NO NEED RPL FOR THIS!

go to pm edit and read: GROUP:120 INDEX:0

it should look like this:

fist 0 is f-bus counter and second 0 is key code counter!


write both to 00 and write to phone = counter is 0/3 0/10!

ONLY FOR bb5+ PHONES with pm fild 120 !!! DONT TRY IT ON NORMAL BB5!!!!!
