is the MT-BOX NO-TP activation safe and reliable? - GSM-Forum

I have the BB5 MT-BOX and i have used it a few times to unlock a few BB5 phones via testpoint, but now im thinking of getting the NO-TP Activation, to unlock the 6300, 6280, etc, but i just want to know that is this activation 100% safe and it wont kill or damage the software of the phone will it?

Someone told me that it does kill some phones. Can someone please advise me and those who use this Activation and have or have not had any problems with it, then please post results. thnx

100% great tool -what ever tool you use you will encounter problems -with bb5 phones always backs up plus make sure the phone is in test mode that way you can restore phone

rite, i dont know much about using the mt-box, have only had it for a few days now. im getting the new activation for no-tp tomorrow. can you please tell me how to back up, etc. do you have any manuals or tutorials for mt-box on doing these things? thnx.
