had same problem with some x6, e72, 5230... The problem is your cable. Use cable 10pin or use adaptor 10pin to 8pin with rx2

I use mt box Adapter 10 PIN with cable 8 pin for NOKIA 5230.

You cant use this adapter. Use a proper 10 pin cable
