unlock 6280 with No communication with phone. Delaying 5 sec - GSM-Forum

when I unlock 6280 than I connet tp it just dispay No communication with phone. Delaying 5 sec

anybody has idea?

with another modle all is ok? If yes then you connect 2 pins of mcu together or wrong tp

I'd say wrong tp! First 6280 i did i miscounted the pins. the best way i found was this (looking at picture in the manual for reference)

for Yellow(CLK):
Look at group of TP above the silver circle(7 in total) - count 12 to the left of this group. If you look at the lighter green where it slopes away then its normally right on the edge of that slope.

For Green(DATA)
counting to the right of the group above the silver circle - count 14 to the right. Normally the tp is on the edge of the darker green circuit boarding(before going to lighter green).

I can now identify the right TPs from looking for these signs without counting them. Once you've done a few you get used to their positioning!

Oh and another thing i learned(a little too late) - if you get "No communication with phone....." then remove the TPs asap. I left CLK on too long on a 6288 when i got this message and killed the phone!
