Unlocking problem with Nokia 2610 but not with Nokia 2310 - GSM-Forum

Hi I try to unlock my Nokia 2610 but everytime i press patch sim it stop here

I dont think there is problem with the cable coz I can unlock my nokia 2310 sucessfully.

Anyone can help please??

Does you try to use Easy flash cable?

Hi 911GT,

When I tried your procedure, i still cannot unlock it, the software still freeze like the first try

when I tried your procedure without unlocking it, the phone ask for restrcition code. After restart the phone, it display contact service

Do you think the file 2610.pm that you supplied cause the phone to behave this way?

Any idea how to just unlock this nokia 2610 ? since I do not have problem with 2310, 1112, 1110i except this nokia 2610 ?

Does you try server based unlock , by press Unlock button (it require server account)?

How do I get the server account?
and today I try the second phone (2610)it does unlock successfully but after try turning it on it is contact service again and flashing it does not help anything.

The phone itself always said contact service
I still can flash it etc....and the original file is v3.77 from telstra australia if it does help.

I have 101 pic 2610
i try at last 15 phones 2610 after press Flash button
erase region freeze
then i disable the erase in automatic functions
the flashing freeze again..........

Problem is.....
before i take thouse 101 pics 2610
i unlocked about 10 other 2610
but diference was is on the flash version
i think that is the problem
or we should wait for another upgrade from MT-Box to fix a bug.......

use last soft wersin for phone and last ver of soft.
you are first with this problem but is posible nokia to mount different flash IC in some new series of this phone.
try to use repair procedure and post result

i have two mt-box trayed with both boxes on three differen PC
with differen flash files but - again freeze at begin of flashing or erasing
how is possible to do this on both phones 2610 t-mobile and 2310 both made in Hungary.I will try another solutions and i will post results
