What does this mean???

Customer:

I try to unlock phone but got this error:

Connect TPs(D1)
TPs OK
TESTPOINT FAILED
TESTPOINT FAILED

Answer:

If errors after TP ok you need to short GND(black) and DATA(green) on a TP cable 2 times and all will be ok.

Do you mean CUT the cables in half?
