C30 " Phone failure " Help - GSM-Forum

Hi all. The help is necessary. Siemens C30 at the established card writes " Phone failure ". I used the program Siemens C30 Tools by Fatum. Original 1.11 c3p is kept. Plz help to restore the telephone. What it is necessary to make?

Solution How to repair Phone failure for Siemens C30.

BEFORE any experiments, You must save backup eeprom from your phone !

Open backup of eeprom and if from addr 0 to 1FFF you will see only FF, copy eeprom from adr 2000 (in hex) to end of file and save it.

 Open good flash file in hex editor. Go to address F8000 and paste from this address saved block of eeprom (size 2000 bytes in hex), save this flash as new file. With sw from PRO write flash to phone.

Phone will be work!

Tested by me with c30 sw ver 2.2.0 flash ID A220.

please explain more how to save eprom dump with a soft or you open phone and search for eprom and read it with eprom programmer and if so where is located c30 eprom cause i diidn't find it

You can save eeprom with program by Fatum. Dont use v1.1, this program will erase eeprom area.
