ef81 offline mode only - GSM-Forum

hi

i have an ef81, was in factory test mode, i managed to flash it to vers 40 with swup and phone powers on ok but is in offline mode

if i try to flash it with usb flasher from benq ( vers 48 ) i get an error after 40% like call lib failed or something so i m forced to stay with it on vers 40

apparently it can only be flashed correctly with swup but i didnt find a swup for vers 48

so phone is in offline mode only ... any idea pls or anybody has maybe swup for vers 48

u need a service program to turn it back on to online mode

because update tool can not backup NV item from phone... and tool cant write correct NV item into phone. that resone yr phone show "service required"

rewrite NV item by NV restore ( use QPST v2.7) .. yr phone will ok.

what u can do if the phone is in offline mode is that u can disable the pincode on the simcard then it shut go online i hade the same problem on my ef81/e81 and i took of the pin and it worked
