FREE Solution to FLASH, REVIVE & UNLOCK C62 - GSM-Forum

I just experimented the following and it worked!

Use Flash Programmer 2.71 (this soft capable of upgrade or downgrade)
download here:

Use Flash File HD0503-083-M (version 20)
download here: http://www.siemens-club.ru/phcat.php...ash&IDmodel=24

Use C62v20 gdfs repair, download here:
http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/show...ight=C62+flash

extract HD0503-083-M-001.cus, HD0503-FFS-083-M-001.SSW and rename as
HD0503-083-M-160.cus, HD0503-FFS-083-M-160.SSW and place this file in the
directory of HD0503-083-M\HD0503-083-M\cust

example put the renamed and extracted file in the folder:
C:\Program Files\microcell\Flash Programmer 2.71\HD0503-083-M\HD0503-083-M\cust

After all files are setup, you should have the following window as attached.
Flash the Phone. Wait for 10 minutes. After complete flashing of the Customization Package,
error will occur. But that's altright and phone is dead

Run Griffin C62clientV1017

note: Correct Pin outs for C62 is also included in the installer, just install all the packages

Click Boot Phone... will show "Start Problem 003"
Click Check Cable/Interface wait till all tests are ok
click again Boot Phone... Will show "Start Problem 003"

Done, Phone alive.

You can now use a g g t y v i l a n i soft to unlock C62.

Previous version of my dead C62 is HD0503-097-M (V28), and now it's alive and working, no five locks closed. (press to test *#0606#)

There are many Language Packages in version 20 but you have to choose Baltic and Repair GDFS to repair C62 phones. Available Languages for version 20:

Try to flash with version 20 (HD0503-083-M)+GDFS. And then run Griffin C62clientV1017. It worked for me...

If somemody wants to blame peoples, for result of our hard-work c62 Director, I must unfortunatelly say, that this sequences does nothing. It cannot be used to unlock locked phones with version 25 and above as they have new SP area. And the running griffin client and wait for error is step for NOTHING, because griffin client boot the phone and after that jumps to flash where previously flash his unlock code (unlock button). That error means, that in the phone is not flashed griffin loader JUST IT nothing else.

AND IN THE STEP CHECK CABLE grifin only read eeprom DO NOTHING WITH UNLOCK

Read please my comment. I know how Griffin works. Their client if you press enable unlock flashes into flash own code for unlocking.

The pressing boot and that error means, that griffin want to jump to flash to his code and dont find it.

The check cable/interface does nothing more than reading eeprom using standard loder.
