hi all, i got a siemens sg75, in language menu i can see different language, but when i try to select one , phone said always (language cannot be changed now) it's a qualcom phone,
how to select a languaage on this phone?

SG75 is the same S.

like SXG75, EF81, EF82, SL91...

Check with BitPim or BMC brew/shared/ldb

Here are the f.

Language files for T9.

Example:
722_DElsUN.ldb = German

German and English is ever in these phones... Normally.

T9 files from these phones are compatible.

For SG75 is one complete Firmware available...

If u want only T9 files? Ask me per PMessage.

Please. Check your Firmware.

For full language support you need over 40 Folder with res/fr with *.bar files.

Maybe they are lost somewhere...

But before you make some experiments.

With Firmware or something else...

Better BACKUP your files. For instance with BitPim or BREW Mobile Commander:

originaly the phone have 4 files in brew/shared/ldb folder:
720_enlbun.ldb
720_eslbun.ldb
720_frlbun.ldb
720_enlbun.ldb
720_ptlbun.ldb

i can activate any t9 in the phone but can't change language; so i think i nead onely language.

u said that i have to copy ur file in every folder under brew/mod, do u mean in all alarmclock, browser, gpsone................?

addressbook_res.bar for each Language, here are 13 versions of this file...

13*40=520 or only french... Then 40 files with correct path FR

Tell me if u was able to Backup your Filesystem... Because if I give you the Firmware. Some problems could appear...

I know now. That are also SVN 01 possible... But I have only SVN 00 as 3GSwup...

I know some user which killed their SG75... Better learn a little bit more about this phone. Before you damage it. It is an absolutly Prototype with very, very unfinished Software...

This is normally no problem. You "can" Delete all what you can see.

But then is only English active.

You have lost your Language files.

No problem. We try to Restore them. I give you better first only an Backup...

Wait a "Minute"...

Better only file by file for testing! Not complete folder...

Or EFS Explorer from QPST...

But I told you to make an BACKUP before...

If u can read all files from SG75, then higher chance to write files...

IMHO other user use BMC with SG75...

bitbim doesn't support it and with QPST i can't write eny file or directory either.

SXG75, EF81 is also unsupported. But works correct with BitPim.

Choose other CDMA and the right ComPort:

Not sure if SG75 not "unique" in this case...

I repeat. I never seen SG75 live... No real experience with this device...
Only few user on www.siemensmania.cz have this device and work with them...

In 30 Minutes I upload Firmware 00. But WARNING! At your own risk.

I suggest to do the same like with SXG75,EF81,SL91. It is also an 3GSwup...
