mc62 problem with FlashProgrammer - GSM-Forum

hello everyone
i'v downloaded FlashProgrammer 2.78 for C62 and 2 flash packets- C62_HD0503-067-m.zip and C62_HD0503-058-m.zip
I'v extracded them in the flasher directory and when i go in the program to set a root directory this files and it sais "there are no software releases available in this directory"

I cant imagine whats the problem - the files are allright - over 25MB each!

Rename C62_HD0503-067-m to C62_HD0503-067-M ,C62_HD0503-058-m to C62_HD0503-058-M,all is ok!

F**k it! Another Problem!
In the flasher's manual sais:

Phone flashing process
1. Switch OFF the phone
2. Plug-in flashing cable
3. Press Flash button
4. Press shortly power button

But when i push the Flash button it sais:

Initializing...
Uploading flash algorithm...
Waiting phone restart...

And then nothing!
i tried to restart manualy but nothing happens!
Please help!!!

Did you use correct cable with external power?

I have serial data cabel
I can read the phone info with it, but obviously can't flash
I also think thats the problem

DATACABLE (RS232) must be correct c62 pinout: 2-GND, 5-TX, 7-RX, 9-12V.

Installation:
Install “flash_programmer_for_siemens_setup.exe”
Copy “HD0503-058-M” and “HD0503-067-M” and "HD0503-073-M" (MUST BE WRITE BIG LETTER) into “C:\Program Files\microcell\Flash Programmer” folder.

Settings:
Select Options -> Settings ->C62
Set Baud rate to 115200 bit/s
Select Root folder for software releases
Choose Software release “C:\Program Files\microcell\Flash Programmer”
Choose Language package
Choose Customization package (international = AUTOLOCK)

Phone flashing process
Switch OFF the phone
Plug-in flashing cable
Press Flash button
Press shortly power button
