.....s40 dead ...killed by me trying to unlock - GSM-Forum

Hi Guys,

need ur help to bring to life one siemens s40 , which i got for unlock ,
this is the first time i try a s40 unlock ,
i use s40spunlock.0.1 , when i read the phone the sw would stop 80% running of blocks after sendng the application to phone .
the same when i click the read flash option !!!!!

so i try clicking the firmware option on this soft , it read the phone soft version 9.0.0 & started writing address to phone ooooo & went on till a minute or two , i wasnt sure what was happening & it wouldnt stop running so i disconnected the phone & now it is dead ...**** .....
i m royally screwed, dont have a clue what to do next ,??????

can anyone be kind enough to help me please step by step to revive this phone

first try make log file and write ma send me log file
after that flash the phone
thats all

i made a log but when i check it is showing a40 in the log file , My phone is s40 ????????/ how is this ?

Hi,

I tried to unlock a S40 with KSie5.1 but no success! First I tried with direct unlock then I tried log and map method but nothing. Exactly, phone says phone failure. What shall I do? Could someone make a map if I send the log?

If phone its dead write full flash with unisiemens software.After that u will see "Phone failure".Read log&make map with THIS & phone its OK
