@gurgy: The patch is not what you said . That's : *** Long press of left side [+] button for "Illumination Toggle" and its short press for IrDA *** But I want the patch: When you unlock the Keypad , the Illumination will not turn on. If it really exist, please paste it here for me . Thank U Very much! Last edited by RainMoon; 05-24-2003 at 01:44.

What RainMoon mean is : "While our keypad is locked, and we do unlock by long-pressing # button, then the light will be automatically turn ON for a while". That is the condition that he want to eliminate ... enough for power saving ... especially if we enable the AutoLock option. Is that right RainMoon? RizaPN

I am also very interested in the function for unlocking *without* turning lights on. It is very good function. Saves battery significantly. Hope Riza can work on it.

@RizaPN : Thank U make the patch, " *** 72. No Temporary Light After Key Unlocked *** " , for us . U 've done the excellent work for every body here. But I think this patch have a little bug. When I press the "Power On" key after keypad is locked, it can not open the light any more . That's a wonderful function when someone want to watch the clock in darkness and do something else. Can't the function be together with your new patch? Hunger for your reply. Last edited by RainMoon; 05-26-2003 at 03:03.

No. If I do long-press ON button (or # button), I got NO LIGHT when the Illumination is OFF, and LIGHT ON if the illumination is ON. RizaPN
