AMR vs WAV

Anyone know if it's possible to continuosly record
sound for more minutes (let's say 10min or more)?

AMR file format seem to be higly packed and less
space occupied then WAV files. Any help welcome,
maybe some patch needed..

There's no patch necessary... to record in .amr format u have to go to New MMS option in Messages and click insert Sounds... there u will see "record new sound". This way u can record sound in .amr format for as much time as your available memory lets u

Already tried this, but it records only 1min12sec
this is 46kb and then beeps and stop. Any solution
to record more time?

Nope... none. I hadn't noticed that limit before. I guess becuase I never needed this function really. Maybe someone else knows. Good luck!

interesting.... cos wit spy call i've recorded conversationsa of more than 5 mins in AMR format on my 7650...
