Incoming Call Display, Hidden Number, need help

@Forum member:

If you can easily try to receive any call with hidden number, I need your help:
- Please call to your SL, but no need to answer it, reject is enough.
- Using AT+CGSN patch, dump RAM address data at address 000C:1000 if you are using the old version of ICD, or 000F:0800 if you are using the latest ones.
- Tell me the values, hope it can help me to solve the hidden number problem in the ICD patch.

Thank you very much,
rizapn

Dear Riza,

Following the instructions in your post I have created 4 bin files using Advanced ATCGSN Debugger. There are two versions; (1) Aug 23, 2004 (v2) and (2) Aug 25, 2004 (v2.2). For each version I dumped the memory area (1) while call in progress and (2) after call is rejected in accordance with your instructions (for old version at address 000C:1000 and for new version at address 000F:0800). The rej suffix in the file names represents that they were the files created after rejecting call. I attached the zip file to this post but you should rename it from txt to zip.

Thanks for your efforts,

Naransula

@naransula and trustkill: thank's for the file.
But, sorry, it was not the content of the RAM location which I need. What I need is RAM location 000C:1000 = 31000h (or 000F:0800 = 3C800h for the new ICD) with size minimum 20h (usually one AT+CGSN command will produce 80h, but mamaich version provide 100h). The content will be started with a text (in ASCII) a:\Images\xxxxxxx.bmp ...

In case you are using Hyperterminal (or something similar) to dump the data, here are the possible command (from some version of AT+CGSN patch):

at+cgsn:c,1000 => original AT+CGSN version
at+cgsn.d.c.1000 => my unpublished version
at+cgsn:d031000 => mamaich version

Thank's naransula.
From that dump, the file need to be called is : A:\Images\4821665.bmp ...
My question:
- when do you dump the data? after receiving call from the hidden ones, or?
- did you receive call from that (4821665) before?

Thank's,
rizapn

sorry, I just tested the procedure while there is a call from a known number. Here is the case when there is a call from a hidden one. There is no difference between the files created both during the call and after the call.

Thank's, naransula. Really unexpected result by me
Please test again, and dump RAM area 000C:2E90 ...
1. Please dump it when the call is in process but the "ID withheld" is not displayed yet
2. Please dump after that string is displayed ...

Thank's,
rizapn

OK, we close to the conclusion
But, please dump :
- before the string "ID withheld" is displayed, and
- after the string "ID withheld" is displayed

Both are before the call is rejected.

ps:
- naransula: how if we discuss it through the YM? I saw that you also have YM ...

Using memory Viewer:
- in the main screen : press * * 1 5 * 2 0 4 8 * then RED button
- goto Card-Explorer and run memViewer.bin
- to go to the next RAM location press RightSoft, LeftSoft to the prev.location

if you are using the old ICD, press * * 1 2 * 4 0 9 6 *

15 = 0F, 2048 = 0800
12 = 0C, 4096 = 1000

or use my latest Capturer (as a hyperterminal) ...
