Midlet for ScreenSaver didn't work

I have problem with the patch "Midlet for screensaver"
I have cool clock midlets and did all instructions mentioned in this patch and the "assign shortcut for midlets" patch but it didn't work and everytime my phones is locked, the screen turns off itself (not the phone) and when I press RED button it becomes on. what's the problem? I do not want to use RizaPN clock 'cause I think there are some better clocks but they don't work.

You probably need to correct the url into the .JAD file to point to the midlet location in this form:

MIDlet-Jar-URL: file://a:/java/jam/Saver/MyClock/Clock.jar

(Just an example)

For more info check the old post on the same problem.

P.S.: i reset that patch as i think that the new selectable logo patch with digital clock is better.

thanks Mirridin
did you applied "selectable operator logo"?
I saw in RizaPN patch that This patch use firmware image no. 309 - 318 as a Digital Clock number (image size is 22x47), image no. 319 as a colon (image size is 13x47), and image no. 320 as a clock background. but in flashfile these images are 30x7 . how did you change the size of these images with ffmod? and can you help me the instruction of changing an image in flash file and inserting in phone agian? I must change fullflash file or partial flash?

I usually work only on fullflash file, but you have a choice to create also partial flash when you save inside FFMod.

To succeed applying "Selectable operator logo" patch you need to apply the patch BEFORE changing images, as the patch changea alsa the 309->320 images size inside the flash: if you change imagese inside the flash before applying the patch you obtain only part of images, as the original size in that location is smaller. You can try with the clock images that i send to Luke.

Working with FFmod is quite easy: just read the help file that caome with the program and use version 0.90 instead 1.02 because i think that is better.
1) load flashfile
2) select on the right FFMOD function -> IMAGE
3) click inside the white window on the left
4) at this time you can save all your original firmware images right-clicking on the mouse and selecting: SAVE ALL ORIGINALS TO FILES
5) with the UP/DOWN arrows go to the image position that you need to change and click on the position: now you can see into the upper central window the original image
6) Righ-click on the lower central window and choose LOAD NEW FROM FILE to load your new image
7) Save your modified flash and, if you want, also the partial flashes files
8) Insert modified flash in phone with UniSiemens: if you use partial flash you need to specify initial address and enter the partial flash size (usually 10000)
