The nokia 6250 has a function which measures the intensity of noise. That would be a nice idea for a patch. Please some of those super patchmakers, would you do it?

Ask a dictionary about the meaning of the word "patch". The patchmakers can patch the phone like a ******** with holes. But it's not possible to make a trouser out of a ********, that means to create/enable functions that aren't possible due of not existing hardware for this. So, I don't think there's such a sensor for noise intensity built in SL4x - and therefore no one can make a patch for this. Sorry.

If 6250 only uses microphone and buzzer, it has to access the sensor data of those parts, that is low level programming. If you tell me how to access those parts in SL45i, read out data and calculate noise level, I can make a midlet for you.

I'm understanding everything, and i'm only said my opinion about sensors. I have repaired several 6250, and couldn't find any other sensor than microphone. If you make some noise into microphone, you could see that idicator will show high activity ... Ech, stupid question, stupid ansvers ![]() Regards
