I have the Siemens SX1, it's a great phone but the battery life it's too short! I've buy a 1300mAh battery but the life is only about 2-3 day... Is it possible to make a patch to turn off the display light or there is a program for the same use (I know probably no...)??

I have found one topic in a russian forum where an user say that probably is possible to turn off the light...

PS - When I see the post I remember my old Motorola v2288 -> because there wasn't any vibration on it I put a vibra motor from Nokia 3210 /with a small amp.regulator/ connect directly to Display Lights

=> when a lights goes up, the motor go on too

/crazy idea but works when you cant' hear ringing/

My brother has SX1 -> I think that it is a very good phone !!!

I have not say that SX1 is a bad phone.. I've only ask if is it possible turn off the light..

Why you wanna cut off display lights ... to save power from a few diodes ???

Perhaps I don't understand what you want to do?

PS1 - it is impossible that there isn't an INFO somewhere on the NET to cut of the lights ... I have seen so crazy things

PS2 - I think that Russians are very good in mobile hacking
