Rizas Unread SMS Indicator - possibilty to trap annother screen region? - GSM-Forum

The title explains enough but the current USI only traps the left softkey button of changes. But well in my region the net is very weak so it sometimes happens that I loose net ability and my mobile get in search mode. So the left button also changes and my mobile starts beeping and vibrating.
Just to repeat my question is it possible, to change the trap region? I think the SMS Indicator of rc-flitzer is doing really good for a kind of trapping

Is it possible or not? I don't know how Rizas patch work (and that's the problem) but I think that there's a region of a 47x13 sized window, that "*******" the left softbutton for any events? Am I wrong? Thanks for any suggestions and explantions.....or maybe we get rid of the softbuttons "info" and "search"?

Please, if it makes to much work to make this to reality then let it be - please!

My USI traps drawSoftButton() function. Means, when the SoftKeyButton need to be drawn, my USI patch will be called. If the button is SMS and/or mixed SMS indicator, then my USI add a number in the button image.

Well okay, the only way I see now to prevent fone from beeping and vibrating in during seconds is to remove the "info" and "search" button. So we could have access to our new SMS even without net.
