| SME45iv04 - organizer shortcut EP - strange behaviour! Hi, I use ACIDs shortcut-patches since a long time - today I found out a strange behaviour... e.g. this one: Quote:
If I select any item in organizer e.g. calendar => open calendar (do something there or nothing) => close calendar => press any button => press red to delete => I am in organizer again E.g. if you press #-Button to keylock after closing calendar (or something else in orzanizer), then keys are locked and phone switches to organizer menu at positon calendar - or if you've choosen appointments, then it switches to that. This happens ONLY if organizer shortcut is used - it doesn't matter on which cursorkey however! And only if I press cursorkey to select organizer! If I select organizer through menu, everything is allright. VERY STRANGE! Has anybody checked out that, too? Is (DA)F6285E the correct entrypoint for organizer? Hope for your notes. | I know very well this problem, since I have organizer on left arrow as shortcut. The problem is that when you enter organizer by new shortcut an edit a voice, and than go back, the first organizer screen isn't dispaled in the way back. This screen unfortunally pops up the first time you go back form another function (keylock screen or anty other). Unfortunally I don't know a better EP for Organizer, and I made long time ago some attempt to avoid this "strange behaviour" and failed. So, I think the problem IS solvable, but not in an easy way. I should better study organizer routine and GPR values, and understand which is the difference to call EP in menu and to call it by shortcut, and than correct it. But for all this, I've no time now, hope in future. I'm keeping my buggy organizer shortcut since 2 years... |

| First of all - Thank you for answering in your "less time period". Quote:
But - another GREAT RESPECT about your VERY BIG knowledge - for me it's unbelievable! (I'm sure, that nobody - beside you - has detected this behaviour before!) Quote:
So I wish you once again ALL THE BEST for exams - You'll do it!!! Bye genetic | ||

| Well, I don't use shortcut for organizer, but now that you mention, I will give it a try. Anyway, I also want to thank Lalo for all his time spent on Siemens phones, and the knowledge he has spread. Maybe when he comes back he will be using a more advanced Siemens model and keep enlightening all of us. Thanks for your big effort and buona fortuna ! |
