SMS - txt to smi&smo - GSM-Forum

I am using software SMSmg for making SMS archive and it is VERY GOOD, but it using only SMI and SMO files for making one big TXT file.

Before I found this software, I was copying my SMS from archive to computer and those messages coverted to txt.

Now I want to use this software, but I don't have messages in SMO and SMI, I have it as TXT and this software doesn't work with TXT.

How could I solve this, I mean how to convert those TXT messages to SMI and SMO again so that I could make archive?

I tried to copt those txt back to phone, and than again back to computer but without marked FILE CONVERSION, and those TXT became SMO and SMI but this software didn't work with it.

Please, tell me how to do that. It is VERY IMPORTANTE to me.

Thanks man, and I am awear that maybe I could receive some answer I don't like, but I am not sure what to do with this? I started it from the phone as JAVA, but there is few options, like OPEN, SAVE, ADD LIST, REMOVE LIST, SAVE SMO, OPEN SMI, and it all souds great, but I really don't know what to do with that?
Can you explain me how to do what I asked with this one?

Maybe you didn't understand me so I will explain you one more time what I am looking for. I have many TXT files, "formaly known" as SMO and SMI

. Now I have to bring them back to SMI and SMO, so that I could make archive with this SMSmg because it use only SMO and SMI files?

Sorry 4 my english;
Paste yours text files into Storage folder, then run this program, open this txt, and you can save it to SMS format (smo,smi).

1. Add list;
enter name.txt of your file;
2. Open...;
select your file, press OK
3. Edit ; blablabla

4. Save SMO;
N-normal sms;
U-unicode sms;
F-flash sms;

OR

1. Open SMI
2. Edit
3. Save as text or sms

. Thanks for your help, but I have for about 300 or more messages, so it won't be so easy to convert those ones one by one, right?

I am priiating your help but this way it can't be done. I need some other solution.

OK, do you know maybe what that ADD LIST means? What list? Maybe it is list of files that has to be converted? Maybe this is solution?

Anyway, thanks for you help. I am priciating that very much no matter it didn't help.

My question is still OPEN.

ADD (TO) LIST; adding files (from storage folder) to OPEN... list. I don't know why.

Can't u just copy all the txt files to the fone through the sync station with the convert option selected????

Yes for sure, I did that first, but no matter all files are converted to SMO, not SMO nad SMI. After I try to use this software SMSmg it won't work. I don't know why, but it doesen't work.
