Member: 60520 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | The symbols are to be found in bold font (16x12) as a replacement of some greek chars. Try to set the font start address (middle right, above the char table) on value 4905C3. This is to be done with clicking on the second N button (right on screen), then some clicks page down. If you're near, get the correct position with +/-2 and +/-1 key (middle left on screen). |

Member: 66040 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 14 | @Red_Fox and Rc-flitzer: Thank you for your answers. I used CE, clicked on 16x12 button, clicked 2nd N button on the right, used page down to go near hex offset 0049053C, but the character is letter "A" not the pictures shown in icons patch |

Member: 60520 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | *g* Yes, you're right. It's the greek A (same as west European one)! If you look the char table on the middle right, you see the whole greek alphabet (8x4 symbols in the table). So... of course you have to patch the Fubu first with "Home/Office/Mobile Icon"! Then have a look with CE, and you'll see: there are some greek symbols and also three phone symbols by Chaos. (Example picture 1) Just press "end" key (gets forward one char) until the first marked char is one of the phone symbol you want to change. (Example picture 2). Do some pixel work (as you intended to want to), then go "Save VKP" in file menu. Now you should have additional(!) patch for changing your phone symbols. The changes are not saving in the fubu (that is done with Save block, the block region is selected bottom left, "DEFAULT" sets whole fubu to save). Too much info? Member: 60520 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | It's no wonder that you are not able to use SiemensCE - with that small window size... No really: it's a bit small, I suggest the next time you send a real screenshot. If it's converted as .png file in 8bit color, it will be as small as your attached bitmap, but we all could recognize details and text. But that doesn't matter anymore... I now recognize that you use somehow a "wrong" patch. It's not the one I have here as "v3" version. Please use this patch instead: Code: ;*** Show an icon "home/office/mobile" on incoming call (max chars ; count) v3*** ;Firmware : SL45v56 ;Author : ChaOS + Yurgen ;Release : May 1, 2003 ; Now the last digits of number is compared with whole phonebook record, ;but no more than 10 digits - no need to write numbers in international ;fotmat, and the icon is correctly displayed under diffrerent operators. ;Bug with lists of received/missed calls fixed. ; Icons changed. 030F27: A3102C C7E0EB 27EBE0: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF DAA3102CE6FC3431 27EBE8: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF E6FDA903BB10E6FC 27EBF0: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF 4B31E6FD9e03BB0B 27EBF8: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF E6FC6231E6FDA803 27EC00: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF BB06E6FC7931E6FD 27EC08: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF A303BB01DB00F0FC 27EC10: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF F42CFEFF2921FD2F 27EC18: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF BB2FF198E6FF412C 27EC20: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF F3F23D2CBB29E1A5 27EC28: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF F0FCF129BB2EF143 27EC30: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF F128E6FF412CBB29 27EC38: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF 41343D1D29812991 27EC40: FFFFFFFFFFFFFF 8D0229513DF1E6 27EC48: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF B42EF2F42A2C4841 27EC50: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF 2D0206FF2A00E0D4 27EC58: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF D41FFAFF881F2841 27EC60: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF 3DFBE6F42000884F 27EC68: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF 88DF28F2A8CF90CC 27EC70: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FD01E0ECB8CFCB00 27EC78: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF 5C112921F182BB05 27EC80: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF 47F30F003D012981 27EC88: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF CB00C02E7C1E00EF 27EC90: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF A93E69212D017C41 27EC98: FFFFFFFFFFFF 67F30F00CB00 48B507: 097F80408000000000 0D3FF04CE852E85208 48B510: 3F0000000000000040807F800000 52A8520852A8520852A84C083FF0 48B584: 067C8040 0A0C000F 48B589: 20001000080008 18C0174018C01F 48B590: 001000200040807C800000 C015401FC015401FC00F80 48B601: 07548054 0A0C000F 48B606: 54005400540038001000 174018C0174010401AC0 48B611: 001080 401AC0 48B615: 800000 400F80 48B61A: 091E 0D00 48B61D: 210040 0FC030 48B620: 804080408040804080210012007380 3047884848333014A0249023103FF0 490708: 097F806180000000 0D3FF04CE852E852 490710: 003F0000000000000061807F800000 0852A8520852A8520852A84C083FF0 490785: 067C8060 0A0C000F 49078A: 30003000 18C01740 49078F: 00 C0 490790: 18003000300060807C800000 1FC015401FC015401FC00F80 490802: 075A 0A0C 490805: 5A005A005A807E803C8018 0F80174018C0174010401A 490810: 801800180018000000 C010401AC010400F80 49081B: 091E 0D00 49081E: 3300 0FC0 490820: 61806180618061806180330012007380 303047884848333014A0249023103FF0 I tried to find the pics in Fubu using the other patch (from charlielao), but no chance... Member: 66040 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 14 | @rc-flitzer: thank you for the patch. Now i have changed the pics using CE. The icons are shown when i go to the missed calls list. My problem now (another one hehehe) is that while there is an incoming call, the icons shown are different from the ones in the missed call list. Can they also be found using CE? |

Member: 60520 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Yes they can... look into patch, you see some lines not only beginning with 490xxx but with 48Bxxx. These positions can be found with CE. Here the way: Click the first "N" (normal font), then 6 times page down and you see greek symbols and the phone symbols. The rest is same as before. If you have some nice changed symbols, you could show them to us (by attaching the created .vkp files). |
